About Us
Our Charter
We continually explore & pursue best practices for nutrition, mobility & strength to improve fitness, health & overall well-being. Regularly attending CrossFit classes is just one critical ingredient for fitness & well-being. We emphasize the importance of quality nutrition, the most essential & critical component, directly linked to one’s health & wellness. Because perceptions on quality nutrition is relative to one’s awareness and available resources, we share actionable nutrition tips & best practices during our training sessions. We know there is no cookie-cutter nutrition solution for everyone. That said, we advocate consumption of variety of whole foods that occur in nature – foods high in essential nutrients and low in processed sugars & calories, to maximize the opportunity for the cells in our body to take in all the nutrients essential for optimal performance & health. Furthermore, we believe quality rest is the third essential component for emotional, hormonal, mental, psychological & overall well-being. From our experience, consistent adherence to our training methodology, along with quality nutrition, promotes quality rest as a natural occurrence.

Last But Not Least
An essential component to health & wellness is strong, positive social connections & community. Because no one can do it all alone, we believe a supportive, uplifting & positive community is just as important as quality nutrition, quality training & quality rest.
Our vision is not limited to helping military, law enforcement & first-responders perform their daily tasks better. In addition to global charity efforts, CrossFit HQ and the members of our community set a self-imposed mission to battle the obesity and chronic disease epidemic affecting almost half of America. According to healthdata.org (2017), an estimated 160 million Americans are either obese or overweight. Nearly 75% of American men and more than 60% of women are obese or overweight. These statistics do not include the increasing number of children developing chronic diseases resulting from poor nutritional & lifestyle habits.

CrossFit is the pursuit of excellence in fitness & overall health. Although our methodology continues to develop the fittest people in the world, our ultimate goal is to improve overall well-being & performance for anyone & everyone in our community. Best stated by the founder of CrossFit, Greg Glassman,: “Your needs and the Olympic athlete’s differ by degree not kind. Increased power, strength, cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, flexibility, stamina, coordination, agility, balance, and coordination are each important to the world’s best athletes and to our grandparents. The amazing truth is that the very same methods that elicit optimal response in the Olympic or professional athlete will optimize the same response in the elderly”.
